The Information Services organization at Merck, is the information technology group that supports all of Merck's business functions and divisions worldwide. The group works with many of the divisional areas within the company to help them design, develop and implement learning systems that support the key business functions and activities for their groups. As an example, we are presently working with our Sales Training group to put a web-based learning system in place that will include training administration (tracking, scheduling, etc.), skills-based management, on-line delivery of programs, and testing and assessment. |
