Professional Background:

Dr. Mazumdar joined the ATP in 1997 and led the microelectronics manufacturing focused program. Currently, Dr. Mazumdar is a Program Manager for the NIST Advanced Technology Program, Information Technology and Electronics Office.

Prior to joining ATP, Dr. Mazumdar worked at IBM Corporation and Perkin-Elmer Corporation in semiconductor R&D and manufacturing processes. Dr. Mazumdar is experienced in research, development, and manufacturing of semiconductor chips and equipment. Purabi's experience includes technologies for wafer processing, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, packaging of chips, and reliability of chips and packages.

Dr. Mazumdar has a PhD in Physics from the Polytechnic University, NY and an MBA from the University of Maryland.
