Information Specialist

Janet joined ATP in 1991 and in 2003 she became the business liaison between the EAO staff and the NIST Contracts staff for the multiple contracts used to evaluate the ATP.

Janet was presented with the U.S. Department of Commerce Bronze Medal Award in 1996, the highest honorary recognition at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, for valuable administrative contributions to ATP’s project-selection process by facilitating proposal review by business experts.

Janet has over 20 years of experience in the federal government and the private sector. Her diverse career experience includes:

  • The ATP
    • (1991 to 2003) Secretary to the Director of the EAO
  • (1983-1985) National Information Utilities Corporation
    • Secretary to the Vice President for Marketing with this satellite communications firm.
  • (1977-1981) U.S. Department of Commerce
    • Secretary to the Director of the Local Public Works Program at the Economic Development Administration
    • Administrative Assistant, Pacific Northwest Regional Commission.
  • (1975-1977) U.S. Department of the Interior, American Revolution Bicentennial Administration (ARBA)
    • Secretary to the Director, Sports Alliances and Deputy Administrator of ARBA
  • (1969-75) Office of Naval Research
    • Secretary, Metallurgy Division
    • Secretary to the Assistant Comptroller for Budget and Reports
