Eric SamuelsonContact InformationGeneral Business Specialist NIST/Advanced Technology Program Professional Background: Mr. Samuelson joined the Advanced Technology Program at NIST in May 2002. Eric is currently a Program Manger and General Business Specialist in the ATP Information Technology and Electronics Office. Throughout his career, he has dealt with a variety of technologies, business, and technology policy issues. Prior to joining NIST/ATP, Mr. Samuelson served as regional manager for a venture capital funded electronic components company. Prior to this, Eric was an engineering consultant to the Microsystems Technology Office of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Additionally, Mr. Samuelson has served in various staff positions for the Electronic Industries Alliance (EIA) and Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI). At the EIA, Eric ran the Multi-chip Module Division and developed both the Alliance for Low-Cost Electronics Manufacturing (ALCEM) and the Military and Commercial Applications for Low-Cost Cryocoolers (M-CALC) Conference. At SEMI, Mr. Samuelson revitalized the Market Statistics Program and served as a Government Relations Coordinator in its Washington , DC office. Mr. Samuelson received his Bachelor of Arts degrees in International Relations and History from the University of Southern California . He holds a Masters of Science degree in International Business (Planning and Strategy) from St. Mary's College of California. Technology areas:
