Douglas (Doug) Bischoff is a Business Specialist in the Life Sciences Group of the Advanced Technology Program (ATP) focusing on business management and development in biotechnology companies. He joined ATP after being a Corporate Administrator for Diversified Controls & Systems, Inc., a small electrical/pneumatic manufacturer, where he wore several hats-- from human resources administration to marketing to financial management. He also was involved in promoting a new technology project for the company. He preceded that with several years of experience as Operations Director for Daily Analytical Laboratories, a laboratory providing environmental analysis to government agencies, large and small corporations, consulting firms and individuals. Doug provided the leadership in operations to make the company a profitable business. Prior to those positions he spent several years in different environmental analysis arenas at Stauffer Chemical Company's toxicology testing facility and Midwest Research Institute.

Doug earned his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Rhode Island (1973) and MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (1985).
