David Epstein

In his current role at IBM, Mr. Epstein is responsible for the development of replicable solutions in the public sector that build upon IBM's middleware strengths. His team focuses primarily on e-government, healthcare, and homeland security where they employ a variety of integration and collaboration capabilities in the architecture of their solutions.

Prior to joining IBM's Software Group, Mr. Epstein was a senior manager and Research Staff Member in IBM's TJ Watson Research Center where he and his team played a key role in the development of internet standards.

Mr. Epstein began his career at BBN Labs where he was responsible for the development of large-scale, distributed, tactical training simulators. He received his A.B. and S.M. in Computer Science from Harvard University and his M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
