NIST GCR 05-879 —Photonics Technologies: Applications in Petroleum Refining, Building Controls, Emergency Medicine, and Industrial Materials Analysis ABOUT THE AUTHORDr. Thomas Pelsoci is the managing director of Delta Research Co., specializing in the economic assessment of new technologies and manufacturing processes, including prospective economic impact studies during early stage proof of concept and later stage demonstration phases. His industrial experience includes positions as R&D engineer at TRW and management consultant in the high technology practice of BearingPoint (KPMG Peat Marwick Management Consultants). Subsequently, Dr. Pelsoci held senior banking positions at First National Bank of Chicago and at Sanwa Bank, specializing in financing information systems and technology projects. He received a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration from the University of Minnesota Return to Table of Contents.
