InPhase Technologies, Holographic Storage Leader, Named a Red Herring 100 Winner

InPhase Technologies, the world's leader in holographic data storage, has been selected as a winnder of the annual "Red Herring 100 North America" award by Red Herring magazine. This award recognizes the 100 private technology firms in North America driving the future of technology. InPhase plans to ship the industry's first holograhic drives, based on the company's patented Tapestry and Trade technology, to OEM customers in the fourth quarter of 2006. The InPhase HDS-300R drive records 300 gigabytes (GB) on a single disk with a transfer rate of 20 megabytes per second (MB), or 160 megabits per second (MB).
