A Town Meeting with the NIST Advanced Technology Program Funding Opportunities with the NIST Advanced Technology Program
Thursday, November 30th, 2000 6:30 - 7:30 PM Hynes Convention Center, Room 208 Boston, MA
At this Town Meeting, MRS attendees will learn about the ATP and their funding opportunities, see how American companies, with universities, can successfully compete in ATP competitions, and hear about what technologies are being developed in partnership with ATP. ATP Program Managers will also be available on Thursday, November 30th, 2:00-5:00 pm for private meetings with interested parties. To make your reservation, complete the electronic form below and submit to ATP. Not-yet-possible technologies are the domain of the NIST Advanced Technology Program. The ATP is a unique partnership between government and private industry to accelerate the development of high-risk technologies that promise significant commercial payoffs and widespread benefits for the economy. The ATP provides a mechanism for American companies, through partnerships with universities and other laboratories, to extend their technological reach and extend the envelope of what can be achieved. The ATP is an effective catalyst for partnerships that link small, medium, and large companies and other organizations to develop technologies that will create new markets or make possible wholly new products or processes.
