  • Name of the IACUC that will be reviewing and approving each ASP
  • Signed and dated copy of the IACUC-approved ASP
  • Documentation of the IACUC approval indicating the approval and expiration of the ASP

After year 1

Deferred

No documents are required to be submitted with the initial proposal
  • Name of the IACUC that may be reviewing and approving each ASP
  • Timeline for submission of the approved ASP to NIST for review

ASP = Animal Study Protocol
IACUC = Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee
NIST = National Institute of Standards and Technology
