ATP Competition
Update for 2005

On November 20, 2004, the United States Congress passed the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2005, which includes funding for NIST.  This legislation was signed by the President on December 8, 2004 (Public Law 108-447). As part of the NIST appropriation, ATP received $142.3 million to fund mortgages of prior awards and administration of the program; however, it did not receive any funds for new awards.

Consequently, ATP will not hold a competition for funding high-risk R&D in fiscal year 2005.
