J. Stevenson Kenney
J. Stevenson Kenney (S '84, M '85) was born in St. Louis, MO in 1962. He completed his B.S.E.E. (Hons) in 1985 and M.S.E.E. in 1990, both from Georgia Institute of Technology. In 1994, he completed his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, also at Georgia Tech. His thesis topic concentrated on GaAs microelectronics. Dr. Kenney has over 14 years of industrial experience in wireless communications. He has held engineering and management positions at Electromagnetic Sciences, Scientific Atlanta, Pacific Monolithics, and Spectrian. In January 2000, Dr. Kenney will return to Georgia Tech as Assoc. Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering. His current research interests are in RFIC design, communication systems design, and high frequency simulation techniques. Dr. Kenney has been an active member of IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society for 14 years. He is currently Chair of the Santa Clara Valley chapter of MTT and serves on the MTT-S Administrative Committee. Dr. Kenney has authored or co-authored more than 20 technical papers and conference presentations in the areas of acoustics, microelectronics, and microwave design. He also serves on the Editorial Board for the Transactions and Guided Wave Letters. |
