Dr. Adam Drobot is a Senior Group Vice President and Manager at SAIC. He manages the Advanced Technology Group at SAIC and is responsible for about 250 staff members who are engaged in Research, Development and Engineering services for Commercial and Government clients. The Group focuses on complex high technology problems which require a broad range of multi-disciplinary skills and expertise. The Group contains physicists and engineers who perform basic research in specific domains and program managers, engineers, and system analysts who specialize in early stage conceptual design of products and systems. Dr. Drobot has been with SAIC for over 24 years. He began his career as a Physicist working on pulsed power devices for electron and ion beams, and is an expert on numerical modeling of pulsed power and RF devices. Dr. Drobot is a fellow of the American Physical Society, and a member of the IEEE, AAAS, AIAA, and AGU. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin in Physics and his B.S. from Cornell University in Engineering Physics.
