Dr. Frank DiMeo Jr. is a Senior Research Scientist at ATMI laboratories in Danbury, CT. Dr. DiMeo completed his Ph.D. research on the growth and characterization of BiSrCaCuO superconducting thin films at Northwestern University in 1995. Dr. DiMeo then went on to a National Research Council postdoctoral position at NIST, where he worked on micro-hotplate gas sensors. Since joining ATMI in 1997, his research has focused on the development of high dielectric BaSrTiO3 thin films for cryogenic applications and the investigation of novel gas sensing devices and materials.
