David Caldwell
David Caldwell is the Stephen and Patricia Schott Professor of Business at the Leavey School of Business, Santa Clara University. He received a B.A. (Whitworth College) and a M.S. (Washington State University) in psychology and a Ph.D. in organizational behavior from the Graduate School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles. Since joining the faculty at Santa Clara University he has served in a variety of administrative positions including Associate Dean of the school. He has consulted for a variety of public and private organizations and has taught in executive development programs throughout the United States and in Europe. In the last few years, his research has focused on high performing teams and individuals and has resulted in over 50 publications in academic journals and books. His most recent work is on how teams can be configured to speed the product development process.
