Brian G. Dodds

Brian Dodds is Director, Manufacturing Engineering for Searle, the pharmaceutical sector of Monsanto Company. In this assignment, he has responsibilities for all major new equipment and process projects in all international locations, and for identifying and presenting new technologies that improve our competitive edge. Prior to this assignment, he held a number of operations and project engineering positions in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries in the UK, South Africa, France, and the USA. A native of New Zealand, he completed his undergraduate program in organic chemistry, and also holds post graduate diplomas in cosmetic chemistry and business studies, and an MS in Manufacturing Management and Technology, and is certified in production and inventory management by the American Production and Inventory Control Society. He is an active member of PDA and ISPE, and has presented programs at several of their international conferences.
