Accounting Systems

• Per 15 CFR Part 14, Section 14.21, ATP may require the recipient to receive an accounting system certification within 90 days of issuance of the award if:
• the recipient has had no prior federal support;
• the financial management system does not meet the federal financial management standard; or
• the recipient is considered to be high-risk.
• Costs of certification may be included as "other" costs on NIST form 1262 (SA) or 1263 (JV)
